This project, titled “Modelling Language Proficiency: A Fixed-Random Effect Approach,” is a comprehensive study aimed at understanding the language proficiency of three distinct student groups: high proficiency, low proficiency, and mid-level proficiency.

The project employs fixed-random effect models to analyse the variance within and between these groups, providing insights into their language learning trajectories. The objective is to identify the underlying patterns and factors that contribute to the diverse levels of language mastery among students.

The project also includes an interaction plot for productivity, which visually represents the productivity levels of the three student groups. The plot reveals that the high proficiency group generally exhibits higher productivity, while the low proficiency group shows lower productivity.

By understanding these patterns, the project aims to tailor educational interventions that cater to each group’s unique needs, thereby optimizing learning outcomes for all students.
